History of the product

The furniture in cannages do not date from today. We must go back to the 17th century to find the first cannages for furniture. After a total disappearance, they reappear with the timeless bistro chairs of the house Thonet. With this new designer sofa, it's a real homecoming we offer.

Made in a traditional way, these designer sofas declined in sizes and colors reclaim your interior. With a finely worked file, they are positioned against a wall but also in the center of your living room. Conformable with a seat composed of a high density foam and terribly chic lacquered wood master lacquered work, they bring an exotic and vintage note that will sign suddenly on your decor. A rediscovery of high quality.

The designer

The RED EDITIONS studio is above all a story of style. The founder of the Scandinavian trend of the 50s and 60s, Cyril Laborde, wished, before all the others, to bring to the taste of the day a vintage and chic spirit that slumbered. It was almost ten years ago. After having joined the services of renowned designers like the British David Hodkinson, it is natural that he embarked on the production of seats, furniture and decorative objects from their sources in a movement since confirmed.

With quality partnerships, constantly looking for new responsible manufacturing workshops, he has traveled the world in search of the best craftsmen. Italy for the quality of the wood and the mastery of the assembly, Vietnam for the unequaled ability of lacquering or India for the purest marbles. A real favorite for this bold and elegant French brand.
