History of the product

This designer bar stool is the brainchild of a designer passionate about Russian culture. A lacquered steel structure made in the best German workshops and a seat designed in a completely original and offbeat material : the bark of wood. Extremely solid due to a particular treatment, this unique medium is worked to become soft to the touch and ultra resistant. The pieces are then laid flat and sewn together. An additional element is welded on the feet to ensure the rest of your legs !

Associated together, the metal and the bark give a surprising marriage, that accentuate the acidulous colors chosen by Anastsiya. Usable in the living room or the kitchen, this real creation will bring a touch of acidity and fun to your decoration !

The designer

Anastasiya Koshcheeva is a young designer from Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. After studying in this big and beautiful city of Russia. Anastasyia decided to settle in 2006 in Germany, in Berlin, where she launches her studio of manufacturing of objects of decoration and small furniture, with a permanent nod to its origins.

She decides to highlight the secular processes of her ancestors applied to everyday objects. Curious, she develops a technique of conservation of the bark to use it as a coating. She will make this project her signature. Exploring the object and valuing its properties remains his passion. His creations are full of tradition and modernity.
