History of the product
We could have called it the "Belgian Bench". This creation with an astonishing design is inspired by the creations of Jean Prouvé (1901-1984) with its seat made of wood and its removable base. An original and innovative idea to which is added a technical quality.
The plywood treatment of the oil base improves the durability of your furniture by making it water-repellent. No more unsightly stains that do not go away. Intelligently thought, this bench will find its place in every room of your house, from the end of your bed to your dining room.
The designer
It is often difficult to apply ecological and environmental requirements to the world of work. Yet this is the challenge that wanted to take the key to any Randy Feys in 2010. This passionate of Design wanted to imagine a workshop or exercise his talent without pollution and optimizing the best of his work, from design to the delivery. Ecological materials, solvent-free products, flat kit delivery system to reduce the carbon footprint ... There are many ideas.
After his training in industrial design at the Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen and a passage through a masterclass in creative industry from the University of Antwerp, he embarked on the adventure by creating his studio "Rform" on the French border. For Randy, the furniture must be beautiful indeed, practical, but above all responsible !
