It is inspired by the moon and by the shape it sends us back to the different periods of its cycle that our young Dutch designer has imagined a mirror with amazing design that would come to oppose two hemispheres of mirrors with different hues. This scholarly balance gave birth to this bold and high quality project entirely hand-assembled.
This circular design mirror is divided into two parts, one clear, the other darker. The back of the mirror in solid oak is equipped with a hanging system that will facilitate its installation on the wall. Thus, you can rotate it at your convenience according to your mood ... while staying in the moon.
Mickael Funch is a very young Dutch designer. Born in Denmark in 1990, after high school in Luxembourg he moved to design studies and joined the prestigious Design Academy Eindhoven, where he graduated in 2004. During his training, he joined Studio VIJ5 as a trainee and gives birth to projects in which his signature begins to assert itself: simplicity, aesthetics and quality are his main words.
For Mickael, design must celebrate the beauty, be at his service and it is perhaps this great mastery of the subject that will allow him to participate in many awards Design and win more than one as the international price of glass in 2015 or the Bolia Design Awards in Denmark that same year. A designer to follow very closely !
