The designer

Tiago Sitima was born in 1987 in Lisbon. After studying at the Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa, where he obtained his diploma in "Equipment Design", in 2009. He continued his training with a master's degree in the same subject area which he validated in 2012.

For this young Portuguese designer who joins the Tema group, "it is important that the shape of the objects adapts to its function, while seeking the needs of the users". Another of his concerns concerns the search for simple and timeless forms, capable of adapting to as many contexts as possible. He is always looking for simple forms that adapt to the function of the product and simultaneously give a differentiating character. The proportion and harmony between the volumes are two fundamental aspects of his design process.
