History of the product

Our designer started from an idea for the least crazy : imagine a wall on which would be placed storage cupboards depicting the stars of the solar system. A surprising idea but that immediately seduced us. Available in several models - most homes do not necessarily have space to place all planets ... - its small storage cabinets are quite amazing.

Four structures to position on your wall : Teak veneer and laminated wood made manually in Antwerp and a very ingenious door system that allows a simple pressure to open it. Three other cubic structures in teak veneer also discover a small closet. A truly offbeat style for design creations that are reminiscent of the work of Mondrian or even more of Malevitch

The designer

Self-taught, Jan Van Look already made some furniture and objects on order according to his inspirations of the moment. Dressers, shelves and more complex projects, he liked distilling his achievements. But the recognition was not far and that is why he decided to create in 2010, in Antwerp, his own studio simply called "Cabinet Van Look".

Creations he imagines in his workshop, footprints of a minimalism of high quality. Inspirations drawn from the repertoire of the 20th century with great names in Suprematism like Malevich or abstraction like Mondrian populate his universe. Furniture made locally with wood and local coatings and a responsible production unit based in Antwerp. A real favorite for this talented designer present and noticed on many European exhibitions !
