History of the product
A porcelain bottle for watering plants. Its pure, iconic tree-like form yields two functions. Plants can be sprinkled by fine streams coming from the shower or alternatively, watered by a single stream coming from the spout. The decorative felt ring collects droplets of water left behind. Filled through the spout, it holds approximately one liter of water.
The designer
Ingeborg and Marko are dutch and co founded the Studio Macura collection of design objects and home accessories in 2010. Respectively, coming from different backgrounds, graphic and product design, they merge together their professional talent and experience to create the products of the collection. A red thread of narrative and cultural inspiration, as well as wit and functionality rather than a formalistic style characterizes their work.
