History of the product
A clean design and soft lines, an ingenious door opening system and full of small details ... Here is the new creation of Mariana. A low buffet, resting on four sturdy legs. Its wooden doors engraved with diamonds add a touch of lightness enhanced by the presence of elegant small leather handles. Once opened, with its innovative opening system, this cabinet develops a large storage space with its shelf and compartments.
Closed, its smooth top allows you to install multiple objects and thus create a personal and unique decoration. A real jewel case for your interior! It is from this idea that Mariana left to imagine this piece of furniture. Inspired by the trellis of a jewelry box, she decided to appropriate this graphic and it is the one that we find on the doors of the furniture. A real design idea !
The designer
Temahome Studio est avant tout une histoire européenne. Crée il y a une trentaine d’années par un groupe de passionnés aux horizons différents, tant professionnels que géographiques, cette petite structure mise au point par une bande de copains a très vite pris le vent pour devenir un acteur important de la production mobilière responsable et raisonnée. D’abord installée en Norvège avec un développement majoritairement national, elle s’est délocalisée à Tomar, à une heure au nord de Lisbonne, afin de mutualiser ateliers et bureaux, et concentrer ainsi l’ensemble de l’activité au même point.
Epaulé d’une équipe de jeunes designer formés aux quatre coins du globe, les artisans de ce studio portugais nous délectent de leurs créations sans cesse renouvelées, avec pour moteur une volonté évidente de casser les codes et de rendre au mobilier ses lettres de noblesse. Un challenge difficile mais relevé d’une main de maitre par cette équipe unie et créatrice.
