The designer

Tristan Lohner

Paris, France

It is by the Brevet des Métiers d'Arts en Ebénisterie, under the teaching of Bernard Daude, cabinetmaker of Pierre Paulin for the Mobilier National, that Tristan Lohner begins his career. Attentive to the accuracy and honesty of his creations, Tristan seeks coherence between the project, its market, its form and its durability. His work focuses above all on the intimate and sensitive relationship between the object and the one who uses it.

He works for the French brand Fermob, with the design of the Balad collection, playful and fun lighting. With this collaboration, the furniture company is introducing luminaires for the first time and is thus expanding its range. In 2016, he created the Nina table lamp for the Hartô publishing house. Today director of the RBC Design Center in Montpellier, he continues his activities of designer in parallel.
