Eliza Yokina

Bucarest, Romania

Eliza Yokina was born in Bulgaria in 1979. After studying painting, she joined the University of Architecture and Urbanism of Bucharest. Student model, she won all design prizes until getting her Thesis on Product Design, with mention of the Jury! After graduation, she worked in several architectural offices. In 2006, alongside Adrian Soare, she created the SYAA Architecture Studio. In 2012, she became a founding member of the "De-a Architecture" association which showcases young talents.


Touch to everything and passionate about the world of children, she starts writing children's books. "Dreams about Houses" won the prize for the best book for children and young people at the "Good to Print" - the Romanian Book Gala. In 2014, Eliza wins the Grand Prix of the "Annual Architecture" in Bucharest, in design section with her fun "game wood 11 Cases". She has since devoted herself to creating children's furniture.
