The designer
After a training in Belgium, at the Ecole Supérieur des Arts, Damien GERNAY moved towards scenography projects related to contemporary dance. Artist in residence for two years, at the Fresnoy, he launches his own studio in 2007, is barely 32 years old.
Out of the beaten track of design, Damien loves above all the spontaneity in the creation. A work must certainly be thought and thoughtful, but it must above all give an impression, an emotion. It is precisely this feeling that gives us his work. Pleased by many publishers, he has exhibited in several fairs and fairs like the PAD of Paris, or in institutions like the MuBE of Sao Paulo.
